Does SMP hurt?
The procedure involves minor discomfort, but it is far less painful than traditional tattoos. The level of discomfort varies with the client, but there shouldn't be additional discomfort after your session.
Does it work with gray hair?
Yes! We have gray-scale pigments that are adjustable in lightness to best match our client, allowing a seamless blend with the natural hair color.
Will pigments fade like tattoos?
While pigments may fade over many years, SMP does not see changes associated with traditional tattoos like ink blowouts/bleeding and discoloration.
Can SMP hide my transplant scar?
Yes! SMP is very effective at hiding scar tissue. It works by replicating the tiny hair follicles and blending color around the scarred area. You can generally expect to see substantial improvements after 2 - 3 sessions.
How many treatments should I expect?
SMP is a process that requires multiple sessions to be effective. Most people can expect 2 - 4 sessions, depending on the level of hair loss or scarring. Treatments should be spaced 15 - 20 days apart.
How long does it last?
